Overlooked Fantasy Offenses for 2024

One of my cardinal rules for fantasy football is to try and draft players on good established offenses. These teams give you the best chance on return for stats for your roster. Sometimes there are studs on bad offenses but even Davante Adams had his struggles in 2023 on Raiders offense who was rough at best. Some overlooked offenses coming into the 2024 season you may want to keep your eye on for players who can be a real value to your roster.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams beefed up their O-Line in the offseason, drafted Blake Corum to be a 1-2 punch to Kyren Williams. If you wait in your draft to take a QB or take a QB with some risk, then Stafford cold return great value for you in the later rounds, while you load up on skill positions early. Puka Nucua in my opinion is being drafted too high but if he slips to end of the 2nd round I’d consider taking him. Cooper Kupp seems to be healthy coming into 2024 after an injury riddled 2023, which should return more for you compared to where he is being drafted. Kupp is still an elite receiver and when healthy puts up fantasy winning numbers. Demarcus Robinson was a great waiver wire pickup when Kupp was down last year and could be a viable option to even draft in the 15th-16th round this year. Regardless he’s going to be valuable enough to Stafford that if anything does happen to Kupp or Nacua, Robinson can jump right into fantasy relevance. Both RB’s who I touched on earlier will be heavily involved and Corum should be the guy in goal line work, which could turn into double digit TD’s this year for him. Williams is being drafted too high for me because of this reason but both RB’s should get a lot of work this year. The only position I wouldn’t draft from the Rams is TE, but Higbee could return some value as one of the last TE’s taken in your draft.

Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love can be a stud in 2024. Over his last eight starts of the 2023 regular season, Love averaged 268.8 passing yards per game, with 18 TD passes, one interception, a 70.3% completion percentage and 7.7 yards per attempt. He then went out and picked apart the Cowboys defense in a wild-card game, completing 16-of-21 passes for 272 yards and three TDs. Love has weapons at his disposal and all could fantasy relevant. Christian Watson when healthy plays as a top 10 WR. Romeo Doubs is a threat on the outside but I really like Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks as being fantasy relevant in 2024, I’m drafting one or the other in all my of drafts. Wicks in 2023 had 39 receptions for 581 yards and 5 touchdowns, and demonstrated his potential to be a valuable asset in the passing game. Wicks has the opportunity to emerge as a key playmaker in the Packers’ ascending offense. Jayden Reed made an impact in his rookie season, as a primary slot receiver for the Packers, he was heavily targeted, with a 25% target rate per route run and just under 2 yards per route run. Reed led all Packers wide receivers in points/game with 10.6 and ten touchdowns. Josh Jacobs at RB should be pretty consistent and give Jordan Love some good play action looks downfield, but in my opinion is being drafted like he just came out of the 2022 season. So I won’t be reaching on Jacobs and will only draft him if he falls to the 5th round.

Tennessee Titans

The Titans have quietly added some weapons and hope to have rejuvenated their offensive line with adding OL Saahdiq Charles and drafting OT J.C. Latham. Adding WR Calvin Ridley and RB Tony Pollard in free agency should also not be overlooked. Will Levis could easily break into the top 10 QB’s this year with some experience and better production on offense. A new coaching philosophy from new head coach Brian Callahan could be the difference to take this offense to the next level and look similar to the Bengals where he came from as their OC for the past 5 seasons. Hopkins is still an elite WR with some of the best hands in the league. This offense could surprise and turn out some fantasy gems. Not one Titan is being drafted until the 6th round in drafts and thats WR Ridley. I’m not saying load up on the Titans but if a few Titans fall in your draft don’t be afraid to take one that stays on the board way longer than they should. Titans may start slow until they get the offense down but have a big chance to really put up some numbers by mid-season.
