3 Running backs who could be undervalued in 2024!

Year in and year out, running backs come out of the woodwork and you say to yourself… “Yeah should’ve seen that coming!” Well don’t say that to yourself in week 8 this season. Undervalued running backs in fantasy are great finds throughout your draft and almost every round there’s one and if not draft another postion and revisit the RB room the following round. Here are af ew guys that we think will be undervalued in most drafts.

Zack Moss (CIN)

Moss, is being completely undervalued as the consensus half-ppr RB33. Cincinnati is a high-flying offense, and Joe Mixon was never an elite talent but solid, and Mixon was still the half-par RB5 last season, and he hasn’t finished below as anything but an RB1 when healthy. Enter Moss, who thrived in Indianapolis especially when Anthony Richardson was healthy last year. As the presumed 1A now in Cincinnati, Moss can replace the majority of Mixon’s vacated production, especially the touchdowns, and could finish at least as low end RB1.

Jerome Ford (CLE)

Last season, Ford ranked 23rd in FPPG, and he is currently ranked as the RB 40 in most consensus rankings. Ford had 248 touches last year; it is looking like Chubb will miss most of, if not the entire season. Ford is in for another heavy workload and could easily be an RB2 again, and at worst be your flex week in and week out, even if Chubb comes back. Ford will be relied upon heavily as the Browns main ball carrier and Ford accumulated 44 catches out of the backfield last year scoring 5 times.

Tony Pollard

Pollard last year was supposed to be a in line for a can’t miss breakout year. Annually seeing more touches his first 4 seasons, the Cowboys made him the feature back after seeing longtime veteran Ezekiel Elliott hit free agency. Pollard was then high in fantasy drafts based on his productive career up to that point even with minimal touches. To say 2023 was a disappointment would be an understatement. Pollard was one of last years bigger busts given his ADP.  He did claim to start the season healthy and did play in all 17 games but he was hampered, Pollard admitted as much and claimed he didn’t feel 100% until Week 11. Pollard was PFF top-ranked running back from Week 11 on. Even though it didn’t always show on the stat line but the fact that Pollard ran well in the last half of the season and will be fully healthy this offseason and heading into the regular season are both positive signs for being a bounce back candidate. If your league mates sleep on Pollard because of his poor early 2023 performance he can return great value.
